Dear Bert,

The front of our house and our driveway were excavated & replaced with Permacon pavers this May. We are very pleased with the work done and the results are very useable and enjoyable. We constantly got compliments from passersby.

Particularly I would like to commend and thank the supervisor and the workers that worked on the project. They were pleasant, courteous, respectful of my property and that of my neighbors, and worked efficiently.

Two incidents stand out in my mind that are worth mentioning. The first involved an existing wooden porch support post. It was to be recovered with aluminum. While I was off the property, it was discovered the bottom of the post was rotten. The post was replaced (more work and time involved than was first estimated), covered and I was told about it afterwards. I was struck by the fact, the post could have been recovered without replacing the rotten one and I would have never known. Thank you for the honesty & integrity that you showed in dealing with me and the project.

The other incident was minor but speaks volumes as to the quality of workers that Prebbel employed on my project. The crew arrived back to complete a few last tasks and walk into the back yard to see the patio Prebbel did for us last August 2005. As they did, one of them noticed a precast step was wobbly. Without being asked (it wasn’t even something they had returned to do) one of the young men leveled it! He saw something small that made the project even better than it was for the customer and did it without a second thought! What a great attitude.

Prebbel is an excellent company to deal with, knowledgeable in their field, and they executed the design very well. But the strength of the company lies in the hands of the excellent workers they employ.

I do not hesitate to recommend Prebbel to anyone.
